Mr. Rorisang Tshabalala is the Chief Executive of ChapterOne Innovation and serves on the board of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund as a Trustee, Chairperson of the Development Committee and member of the Management Trustee Committee. Additionally, he holds positions on the Boards of Spark Schools, Edge Growth and Barloworld Empowerment Foundation. Mr. Tshabalala has a diverse background, he is a fellow of the African Leadership Institute (AFLI) Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellowship, Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the African Leadership Initiative’s – Youth Leadership , among other notable affiliations. Among his hidden talents, he is both a retired politician and a retired radio show host.


He holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and a BCom degree from the University of Pretoria.


Mr. Tshabalala is a corporate strategist with specialisation in organisational strategy, complex systems and business model innovation.
